What are House Concerts?
Well, they originated way back in the day!
In the 1970s, house concerts were intimate, informal musical gatherings in private homes, offering an alternative to crowded clubs, especially for genres like bluegrass, folk, or early hip-hop, featuring local or touring musicians playing acoustically or with minimal sound for a small audience, often with potluck food and shared CDs, creating a unique, community-focused “listening experience” for artists and listeners to connect deeply.
To celebrate music and the timeless classics we all love, we will revisit much of my Golden Classic Cover Set list from 2023!
